Apple gives iPod nano owners $25 scratch refund

1g-ipod-nano

Owners of 1st generation iPod nanos can now send in their serial numbers for a $15-$25 refund, after CNBC reports that Apple is settling a class-action lawsuit that begun in late 2005. Customers who received a slip case with their iPod nano get (USD) $15, while those who didn’t get $25. Apple has put aside $22 million to those who apply to the refund program.

If your iPod nano doesn’t have an aluminum enclosure, there’s a good chance you can apply. This site has full details and links to the claim form. – r.
