Now Showing: Slumdog Millionaire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Slumdog Millionaire

A man named Jamal Malik (Dev Patel), who grew up in the slums of India, wins Millionaire and then is suspected of cheating.

This great movie which was directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later) is one of a kind. As each question goes by in the movie, you become more and more attached to Jamal . Danny Boyle does a fantastic job of using suspense as often as possible, and believe me, you will be glued to your seat. One of the best films of the year.

I recommend City of God, Trainspotting

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt) is a man who ages backwards with strange consequences.

Benjamin Button is a very strange, yet good movie. Brad Pitt, who plays Benjamin, starts out as a baby with common symptoms of senior people (wrinkles, cataracts) and is not wanted by anyone. He grows up, learning from multiple people and trying to appreciate life despite his shortcoming. This epic which is directed by David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en) has some of the most jaw-dropping effects that are worth seeing the movie for. David makes Benjamin somewhat average and makes him stand out only from his aging process. While Benjamin is living a very odd life, Daisy (Cate Blanchett) is his crush and friend who tries (and accomplishes) a dancing career. A lot of people may be turned off by its running time, but seriously, get over it. Titanic and the Lord of the Rings series were both longer and are also timeless classics. Give this one a chance, as you may enjoy this one more than you think.

I Recommend Forrest Gump, Big Fish

me parece que la pelicula “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
” es muy interesante y bien merecida estar nominada ala oscar junto con “Slumdog Millionaire” las dos son muy interesantes.
