Macworld 2009: iLife ’09

Apple just unveiled a new iLife suite for the upcoming year. The updates include, iPhoto, a much needed iMovie update and Garageband.

iPhoto ’09

– Sort photos with facial recognition.

– Sort photos by places, you can enter the place manually or use geotagging.

– Upload photos to Facebook and Flickr.

– Receive information back from Facebook and Flickr

– New slideshow themes

iMovie ’09

– A precision editor that allows you to fine tune your project.

– Added themes for title sequences and slideshows.

– Added maps so users can map journeys on a 3D map.

– Video stabilisation.

– New transitions, titles and effects.

Garageband ’09

What’s New?

– Basic Lessons lets you learn piano and gitar.

– Artist lessons that can be purchased from the iTunes store for USD 4.99

– Magic Garageband now full screen

– Added guitar features that allow you to create more complex guitar setups.
