Optus Prepaid iPhones – now available at an Apple Store near you

picture-15

Apple has begun selling prepaid iPhones at their Retail Stores in Australia. Until recently, the Apple Store only sold iPhones on a 12 or 24 month post-paid contract with Telstra, Optus or Vodafone. 8GB iPhones are available at $799 and a 16GB iPhone will set you back $899. Optus allows it’s prepaid customers to unlock the phones for $120 or after $120 worth of recharge has been reached. According to Apple’s website, only credit cards can be accepted for iPhone payment. – r.
