After announcing their partnership with Google Maps, it has been revealed that Telstra-owned Sensis will finally abandon its unpopular search service, opting to use Google’s search on sensis.com.au. I don’t know anyone who ever used the service and I doubt that even Sol Trujillo will be disappointed. In fact, even Sensis itself could only find 58 results for the Telstra CEO’s name, compared to Google’s 446,000+ search results. Telstra is yet to provide a timeframe for the transition, but we’ll let you know when it happens.
