Australian TV Election Coverage

Tomorrow is election day in the United States, and for the first time ever, Australian media seems to interested in the events. Either that or, you know, there’s nothing better on TV at midday.

Anyway, here’s a compilation of the US election coverage tomorrow.

Perhaps the best coverage will be on the Special Broadcasting Service. Beginning at 2:30PM and ending at 6:30PM, they’ll be covering it live from the US. Nine is covering it from 11AM to 3PM and Seven is providing a live feed from 11AM to 2PM. Finally, and perhaps most disappointingly from our national broadcaster, ABC1 will have a summary of the day’s events so far from 5:30PM to 6:30PM.

As far as I’m aware (from looking through the Foxtel EPG) Fox News is the only pay tv network to be covering the election, but it’s Fox News, so expect to see biased reporting and ten minute long infomercials.

Anyway, that’s all from me at the moment, I’ll add more information as it comes to me and I’ll try to give you some online coverage information.

Enjoy the rest of the week, – r.
